Tennis and Golfers Elbow
Tennis elbow occurs when the muscle of the forearm and around the elbow are overused.
Golfers elbow is a similar condition but affects the inside of the elbow.
Symptoms of tennis and golfers elbow are:
Recurring pain on the outside of your upper arm just below the bend of the elbow
Pain when lifting or bending the elbow
Pain when writing
Difficulty when extending your arm
Tennis and Golfers Elbow occurs with repeated or excessive use of the muscle that straightens and bends your wrist causing small tears in the tendon which becomes inflamed. Causes other than tennis that can cause tennis elbow are:
Gardening
Sports the involve throwing
Swimming
Typing
Using scissors
