Spondylolisthesis is the displacement of one vertebra on top of another, ie one moves forward over the one below..

 

Symptoms of Spondylolisthesis can be severe back and leg pain, but in some cases there can be no symptoms and found by accident by an x-ray.

 

Spondylolisthesis can be caused by:

Aging
Trauma to the spine
Bone diseases
Aggravated by extension activates
